Initial Reflections Art Glass Studio Barry Stockmier has operated an art glass studio in Richardson, Texas since 1988. He was a member of the Dallas Stained Glass Association until that group disbanded in the '90s. He does residential designs, sells some supplies, and is experienced in copper foil, lead, and fused hot glass methods. His studio designs panels for entryways, windows, lamps, kaleidoscopes, jewelry and jewelry boxes. He is experienced in painting on glass and performs custom work on request. His custom-made kaleidoscopes are especially popular. Individual designs range in size and cost. Many include gemstones and color-shifting dichroic glass. They are beautiful to hold and amazing to gaze through. His kaleidoscopes are prized possessions by many of his clients.
